The Travel Summit grand prize campaign – chance to win Star Alliance Gold airline elite status

Last couple of years have been pretty good for leveraging elite status with airlines and hotel loyalty programs. Not only have programs been generous in extending existing status, many programs made it easy to get in on the bandwagon.  The Travel Summit recently announced the first (of six) grand prize for their event attendees – ‘Star Alliance Gold airline elite status‘ (valid through 2023), which definitely caught my attention. But wait, if you dont have your tickets to the event yet, you probably dont know what I am talking about – so allow me 🙂

The Travel Summit will be the first of its kind event in Canada that will bring the points travellers in the same room as the larger travel industry. With content that is not country specific, but relevant to travellers of all kind. The two day event (October 29-30) will take place in the iconic Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada. With breakout sessions themed under ‘The Points Beginner‘, ‘The Frequent Flyer‘, ‘The Bucket List Traveller‘, and ‘The Future of Travel‘, attendees can define their learning track for the weekend, or mix-and-match to personlize their learning.

Admission tickets to the event are priced at $399 CAD, and gives access to all 24 sessions (including video recording of all sessions), discussion panels, networking sessions, and lunch on both days. The grand prize campaign kicked off August 2, and runs through to October 29. Six grand prizes will be drawn either in the lead-up to or at the event. Entry into the grand prize draws is based on when the attendee purchases their ticket; the sooner you purchase, the more prizes you will be eligible for.
