Welcome to Points Miles and Bling (PMB) – our new digital home. A hat-tip to the ‘OG’s‘ who have followed along for seven years on TravelUpdate. On the new platform I look forward to leveraging my learned skills to enhance the ‘voice of the brand’, and build deeper engagement with the readers – you. Here at PMB, we have built a strong community of points enthusiasts that lean on collective learning. And you will get plenty of that through this website, and by attending the weekly live sessions What’s the Point? , experience based #PMBMeetup , or through the several online workshops ‘PMB eLab‘ we host throughout the year.

Points Miles and Bling – New Team

Through speaking engagements across Canada, I have had the privilege of connecting with some brilliant minds in this industry. And even better perhaps, built meaningful friendships along the way. It brings me immense pleasure to share that three such wonderful individuals are joining forces to enrich the points community with their insights, and further the PMB brand. Join me in welcoming onboard – Dalia, Sash, and Mohammad.

Dalia is passionate about challenging set conventions, and brings a practical outlook to the often irrational consumer behaviour among points enthusiasts. Always eager to onboard newcomers into the world of points, you can look forward to thought provoking content for newcomers and seasoned travellers alike.

Sash loves telling me why doors in F should be a norm, and why “EK Game Changer” is a gimmick – and how classic seats are much better. He also believes first world problems deserve their own discord server. Need I say more? With this ‘F-guru’, you can expect the nerdiest discourse on all things Bling – and he fits in perfectly here 😉

Mohammad personifies Roman Gluttony, with his love for Italy, penchant for fine dining in the sky or the best restaurants around the world. A connoisseur of luxury hotel brands, you can expect him to share opulent travel experiences, with scrupulous honesty.

Last but certainly not the least – PMB would not exist as it does today without the tireless efforts of the BoardingArea team, who continue to host and support me in their eco-system. Engagement, engagement, engagement! We have hit the reset button on PMB stats – from 60,000 active members on TravelUpdate, to this first post on the new platform. As content begins to flow, I would love to hear your thoughts, and reactions, in the comment section. Or for you to share our posts on social media – every little bit counts. This will continue to be a platform for the points community, and we will never write content simply to appease the SEO gods.
