Air Canada has officially launched its new year-round, four-times-weekly service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila, Philippines. This new direct link to the Philippines further cements Air Canada’s position as the North American airline with the most non-stop destinations in Southeast Asia. With over one million Filipinos living in Canada—more than 170,000 of whom reside in British Columbia—the route is expected to significantly support travel for family visits, business, and tourism.
The new Air Canada route between YVR and MNL will be served on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with the following schedule;

The new service to Manila is Air Canada’s 12th transpacific route from Vancouver, alongside destinations such as Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Vancouver’s geographic position as the closest major North American gateway to Asia enhances the efficiency of these routes. For summer 2025, Air Canada will operate over 180 weekly flights across the Pacific, offering more non-stop options than any other carrier in the market.
The addition of Manila follows Air Canada’s recent expansion into other Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore and Bangkok. Aeroplan redemptions on the direct flights between Vancouver and Manila are currently available from 45,000 points in Economy, from 75,000 in Premium Economy, and ~200,000 in Signature Class;
