Air Canada is extending a limited-time promotion as part of a customer appreciation campaign following a tentative agreement with its pilots. Air Canada Flash Sale offers a 25% discount on new flight bookings from Canada and an opportunity to earn 2,500 bonus Aeroplan points. - Offer: 25% discount on select new bookings in Economy (Standard), Premium Economy (Lowest), and Business Class (Lowest) fares.
- Booking Window: Available for bookings made between September 15, 2024, starting at 5:01 p.m. ET, until September 18, 2024, 11:59 p.m. local time in the departure city.
- Travel Period: Valid for travel between September 28, 2024, and May 31, 2025. However, blackout dates apply during peak travel periods: December 16-23, 2024, December 27, 2024 – January 5, 2025, February 13-18, 2025, March 7-9, 2025, and March 14-16, 2025.
- Eligible Routes: The offer applies to all flights within Canada and between Canada and any destination worldwide within the Air Canada network, including flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express®, and Air Canada Rouge®. The discount does not apply to codeshare or interline flights, except those operated by Lufthansa, Swiss Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Discover Airlines under Air Canada’s codeshare agreements.
The 25% discount is applied to the base fare of eligible flights only. It does not cover surcharges, taxes, fees, or other additional charges, which must be paid in full. The offer is not valid for group bookings and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
2500 Bonus Aeroplan Points:
Aeroplan members will earn 2,500 bonus points on new flight bookings.
- Eligible Flights: Applies to one-way or round-trip bookings in select fare classes (Business Class Lowest, Premium Economy Lowest, Premium Rouge Lowest, and Economy Standard) for travel within Canada or to any international destination served by Air Canada.
- Booking Conditions: The promotion is available only on bookings made during the offer period, with travel occurring between September 28, 2024, and May 31, 2025. Bookings made prior to the offer period or bookings made using a combination of points and cash are not eligible.
- Points Crediting: Bonus Aeroplan points will be awarded up to six weeks after the qualifying flight is completed and will count towards Aeroplan Elite™ Status qualification, though they will not count as Status Qualifying Miles (SQM).
