This is an incredible opportunity for Hyatt and MLife Elite members, up to 3 (or even 4) free nights in Atlantic city up for grabs. If you are not an elite member with Hyatt or MLife, please look away or stop reading, this could induce serious FOMO reactions.
If you are an MLife Elite member, skip to Step 2. For Hyatt Elite members that are not MLife members, start here;
Step 1:
Match your Hyatt Elite membership to MLife – Link Here
Note: Older version of this status match offered MLife Platinum for Hyatt Diamond members. Now the highest MLife tier available is Gold for Hyatt Explorist and Globalist members.
Step 2:
Once your MLife status is ready to go, you are all set to take advantage of the promotion at the new Hard Rock Atlantic City – they are offering an easy Status Match with 2 free nights for MLife Platinum and Noir members, 1 free night for MLife Gold members and 25% discount for Peal and Sapphire members.
Borgata Hotel is part of the MLife portfolio that will unlock free nights for you, with the status match.
Call the number on screen and book your free night(s). Remember that you would need a physical copy of your MLife membership when you check-in for the booking. MLife does not mail membership cards but one can be picked up by visiting the MLife Rewards desk at any of their property. If you are headed to Hard Rock for your stay and do not have your MLife card, stop by Borgata hotel first to pick it up and then head to the Hard Rock.
Step 3:
The free night train does not stop here, you can get another night (or two!!) by activating your account at the Borgata. You can activate your Borgata account using your MLife credentials, follow the screenshots below;
Once your Borgata account is active and matches your MLife credentials, you can log in and check your profile and the personalized offer section. As a MLife platinum member, I was offered free night at the property.
Free night(s) can be booked online. Although the free night offer validity showed 2 months from date of activation, when I clicked through, it was available until July (3 months).
My plan was to book one free night at the Borgata and then use the 2 free nights at Hard Rock for a total of 3 free nights in Atlantic City. HOWEVER, I was able to select up to 2 nights and the system did not charge me any room rate. I clicked through and was only charged the resort fee for the 2 nights 🙂 . 3rd and 4th nights were pricing at $89-$99 only.
Your experience may vary, I just booked the two complimentary nights at the Borgata.
Take Away
Depending on the status match tier from Hyatt–>MLife–>Hard Rock, you could get up to 4 free nights in Atlantic City.

Does this work at any M-Life hotel? Or just Borgota? On the website now it now says Borgata/MGM National Harbor. I am a MLife Platinum, does this mean I can use this for MGM National Harbor as well?
What made this deal work was that Hard Rock listed Borgata for status match, which mean all M Life elites could take advantage. Additiknally, Borgata offered comp nights for activating MLife account on their site.
You should check if MGM national website has comp night offer with activation too, if so, this would work the same way..
I checked that the options to book higher cat room (club or suite) were also available with no extra fee. I’m not familiar with the property, so wonder why you booked Classic room instead.
Great data point. I didnt even try tbh, but will now – thanks! 🙂
The suite was not available on weekends, the club room was. I called them to change my reservation but they found a better room than the Club Room that was available on ‘Comp Basis’ and were able to change my booking – Vista Room Water Club. Thanks again for the heads up – cheers!
I did much the same as yours, except 7/4 for HR (I am MLife Gold) and 7/5-7/7 for Borgata. I never saw anything saying how many comp nights I could get at Borgata but 2 worked. If I look I still see the offer, so I’m not really not sure how many comp nights is the limit.
My Borgata comp nights mostly excluded Saturday nights, Are you Platinum rather than Gold?
Yeah, my plat status carried over from the hyatt diamond match 2 yrs ago – lucked out.
Yep. Looks like 2 free nts every booking. Don’t think they restrict how many 2nt bookings you can have 🙂 enjoy!
