Hilton’s latest points purchase promotion is at its lowest price point ever. The current promotion offers a 120% bonus on purchases of 5,000 points or more, valid until November 21, 2026. Many accounts have an increased purchase limit of 240,000 points, meaning members can acquire up to 528,000 Hilton points, including the bonus.
If your account was targeted with an increased limit and a 120% bonus, this is a great opportunity to top up toward a redemption or buy points outright for a planned stay. Buying Hilton points at 0.5 cents each offers excellent value when redeemed at top-tier properties – think luxury all-inclusives like Hermitage Bay or Japan hotels during cherry blossom season!

With this promotion, you can purchase as little as 11K points (incl. bonus) for $50 or as much as 528K points for $2400! Since you can combine points across household accounts, you can choose to purchase 528K on each account. I value Hilton points at ~0.6 CPP, and this promotion yields 0.45 CPP, a great value!
Is Buying Hilton Points Worth It?
Since the highest-category Hilton redemptions can range from 150K to 250K per night, it is nice that the promotion lets you redeem with an outright points purchase. Very handy for anyone dreaming up a luxury Hilton stay.
For example, the Conrad Tokyo can be redeemed for 130K points per night, which is $650 if purchased outright under this points promotion. To be clear, that’s not cheap. However, compared to the regular cash price of ~$1,000+/night with taxes and fees (even higher during cherry blossom season), buying Hilton points suddenly makes a lot of sense.

Somewhat recently, Hilton has added Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) to its portfolio. A property I’m eyeing is Hermitage Bay, an all-villa, all-inclusive property in Antigua that costs around $3,400 per night in the winter season, including all taxes and fees.

You can also pay 230,000 points, which costs $1,045 if purchased outright under the current promotion. Certainly not cheap, but a ~70% discount is about as good as it gets.

If you take into account that the per-night cost is actually $4,378 after taxes, this is actually over 75% discount. Remember the ‘5th night free’ benefit, which can add another layer of savings.

Hilton’s 120% bonus on purchased points at 0.45 CPP is as good a deal as any, but I wouldn’t recommend buying without a use or plan in mind.
