Eurowings, a low-cost airline based in Düsseldorf, Germany, is Aeroplan’s newest air redemption partner. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, Eurowings operates with a modern fleet of over 100 Airbus aircraft, providing convenient connections across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East from its key operating bases in Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, and Stuttgart.

This new partnership with Eurowings (EW) enhances Aeroplan’s already robust network of redemption partners within the Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa, SWISS, Edelweiss, Austrian, Brussels, and Discover Airlines.

For Aeroplan Flight Rewards on Eurowings;

  • Eurowings flights will be priced according to Aeroplan’s partner grid
  • Members will have multiple options to book Eurowings flights, including online at aircanada.com, through the Air Canada mobile app, or via Aeroplan’s Contact Centre.
  • Eurowings flights can be combined with flights operated by Air Canada and other international airline partners.
  • Redemption options will be available for Economy and Business class cabins on Eurowings flights.
  • A partner booking fee will apply for flight rewards, including travel on Eurowings, consistent with the fee structure for other airline partners within the program.

The Aeroplan and Eurowings redemption partnership will offer members expanded opportunities to use their points for travel across a broader network of destinations, enhancing the overall value and flexibility of the Aeroplan program.
