For a limited time, Chase Cardmembers can get up to a 30% bonus when they transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards (UR) points to Aeroplan points. This offer is available from August 12, 2026, to September 30, 2026, and applies to those holding an eligible Chase card (Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Ink Plus, Ink Business Preferred, Chase Corporate Flex & JPMorgan Reserve).
Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan
Chase members with eligible cards who transfer their Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan will get a 20% bonus. For this bonus, the minimum number of points required is transferring 1,000 UR.
In addition, Chase Aeroplan Cardmembers can stack the existing 10% points bonus when they transfer 50,000 or more in a single transaction (a cap of 25,000 bonus points per calendar year). This 20% is an ongoing feature of holding the credit card. That’s a combined bonus of 30% Aeroplan points by transferring at least 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to Aeroplan
Note that the first and last name of the primary cardmember or authorized user on the credit card account must match the first and last name on the Aeroplan account receiving the points. Aeroplan will award the bonus points and deposit them into your account within seven days after you complete the transfer.
One valuable perk to keep in mind is Chase Aeroplan card’s “Pay Yourself Back” (PYB), which allows you to redeem Aeroplan points at 1.25 cents per point (USD) towards all travel purchases. With this 30% transfer bonus in play, the redemption value per Ultimate Rewards is 1.625 cents per point (USD) — not bad at all if I do say so myself. Since the PYB cap is 200,000 Aeroplan points a year, I always redeem that towards $2,500 USD worth of travel.
The Fine Print
Key criteria and considerations:
- Points Transfer is a redemption option available to UR customers paying an annual fee.
- This benefit allows customers to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio in 1,000-point
increments. - Minimum point transfer of 1,000 Ultimate Rewards Points
- The Bonus Aeroplan® points offer is valid for Chase Ultimate Rewards® point transfers to Aeroplan points completed between 12:00AM ET on April 1, 2026, and 11:59PM ET on April 30, 2026. You must be enrolled in the Aeroplan
- Program with both your Aeroplan membership in good standing and your Ultimate Rewards credit card account open and not in default in order to participate in this offer. All Ultimate Rewards points transferred into Aeroplan points to your Aeroplan account, and the Aeroplan bonus points will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Aeroplan Program and cannot be transferred back to your Chase Ultimate Rewards account.
- Ultimate Rewards transfers by a primary cardmember into a authorized user’s Aeroplan account or any Aeroplan account other than the primary cardmember’s are invalid.
Takeaway
I typically would not recommend transferring Chase points to Aeroplan speculatively, but a 30% bonus is as good as it gets to access premium cabins on Aeroplan’s airline partners. Aeroplan is one of my favourite programs, particularly for partner awards combined with the ability to add stopovers on one-way flights. And you have access to 45+ airline partners with some of the most sought-after premium cabins in the sky.
