At the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, presented during the Paris Air Show, Canadian airlines put on a strong show with no less than 14 awards across several categories. Air Canada was named the Best Airline in North America, while Porter Airlines was named Best Regional Airline in North America, and Air Transat was named the World’s best leisure airline at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Established in 1999, the Skytrax Awards are among the most respected global benchmarks for airline service, based entirely on passenger satisfaction surveys. The 2025 results were compiled from online surveys conducted between September 2024 and May 2025, with over 22.3 million eligible entries from passengers of more than 100 nationalities. In total, over 300 airlines were evaluated.

The Signature Suites are available to international business class passengers at Toronto Pearson and Vancouver International airports. Both Signature Suites are scheduled to undergo major renovations in the next couple of years, with Montreal (YUL) scheduled to get its own as well.

Four airlines in particular stood out, with Air Canada leading the way through a wide range of distinctions, and others like Porter, Air Transat, and Air Canada Rouge also bringing home top honours.
