This was the second leg of my return trip from Mumbai to Toronto (BOM-HKG-YYZ). The return trip was booked with 62,500 + $62 Alaska MileagePlan. Since I have reviewed Cathay Pacific Business class 777-300ER product in detail before, I figured it was best to do a pictorial review for both these segments – BOM-HKG is here, HKG-YYZ is as follows;
Cathay Pacific Business Class Review: Hong Kong to Toronto (2019)
Flight: CX 828 HKG-YYZ
Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER
Duration: 14hr 32min
Seat: 17K
Take Away
14.5 hours were easy on Cathay’s business class cabin. The service and amenities have been consistently good, globally. If you haven’t had a chance to experience this yet, hope this review of Cathay Business Class 777-300ER Hong Kong to Toronto would convince you to give it a try. Trust me, it will not disappoint.

i just flew this plane from HKG-ORD a week ago and was not impressed. there was no wifi, no mattress pad, no nice duvet and the food was not good. i was expecting more. sorry for not being more positive but just being truthful. so many of the better airlines give you those things now in bus class. cathay needs to up their game as well.
Cant say I completely disagree with you..in an apple to apple comparison, cx is starting to show its age. But I do like the consistent service I have experienced in the past few years..
Julie’s post really illustrates the value of internet communications. I’m flying CX biz in a few months HK-SFO and can hardly wait. Of course I read EVERYTHING I can get my hands on. I don’t care about wifi, mattress pads, duvets and I’ve never had an airline meal that I couldn’t enjoy at least part of. But every nugget of information like this is valuable to so many of us. Keep ’em comin’. I am grateful to everyone who takes the time to share their experiences.
Wow, am excited for you! You will definitely enjoy CX biz, its a great product overall. And cheers for reading and dropping a line 🙂
