I recently used two of these promotions at Hertz (through Aeroplan) in San Diego and netted 4500 Aeroplan points along with the 35% discount on fares. I value 4500 AP points at ~$85 CAD using valuations as posted here.

Take note of the expiry dates on the promotions, some expire end of July while others last until Dec 31st. These discount codes are easily accessible online though loyalty program accounts and are available to everyone regardless of their status within that program. Using these promotions is also a good way to keep an account active or top up account balance.
