I’m excited to introduce our upcoming inaugural event: Points Travel Festival Toronto 2026, taking place this April!

Points Miles and Bling (PMB) is teaming up with Points Travel Festival (PTF) to bring this long-running points conference to Canada for the very first time. Previously known as the Chicago Seminars, the event has been held in Chicago every October since 2011 and has become a cornerstone gathering for the points and miles community. This Toronto edition is co-organized by PMB and Stefan Krasowski, the founder of the Chicago Seminars, marking an exciting new chapter for the points community.

For the inaugural edition, PTF Toronto will be a one-day conference on April 18, 2026, with an add-on option for an evening cocktail reception on April 17th. The event combines structured conference sessions with plenty of time for informal conversation and networking, all designed to feel community-driven rather than a corporate industry conference. The goal is to cover every aspect of the points and loyalty hobby while preserving the approachable, inclusive atmosphere.

Whether you’re brand new to points or deep into advanced redemptions, you’ll find sessions, conversations, and people that meet you exactly where you are.

The conference day will feature two distinct session tracks – Canada and Global – running concurrently throughout the day. Each track will offer sessions from 9am to 5pm, with built-in networking and refreshment breaks. Attendees are free to mix and match sessions across both tracks, allowing you to tailor the day to your interests and experience level.

While the official conference programming delivers a full day of learning, it’s only the beginning. Attendees are strongly encouraged to stay for the Saturday evening reception and the informal after-parties that follow. These off-schedule gatherings are where many of the most valuable conversations happen, from sharing award-booking wins to making lasting connections.

A room block is available at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport at $175 CAD per night plus tax. Booking details will be provided to registered attendees. The hotel is just a 10-minute, 24/7 free shuttle ride from YYZ, making travel simple and convenient for anyone flying in for Saturday’s activities.

Festival Topics & Speakers

Sessions will cover a wide range of practical and advanced topics, including:

  • Aeroplan stopover awards
  • Round-the-world bookings with Avios
  • Airline elite status in Canada
  • Booking all-inclusive resorts on points
  • Flexible points ecosystems
  • Family award travel
  • Buying groups
  • Airline partner redemptions
  • And more!

For those just getting started in the points and rewards world, great starting topics include: airline elite status in Canada, booking all-inclusive resorts with points, and understanding flexible points ecosystems.

Attendees will be able to network with their favourite points websites and speakers from:

  • Rewards Canada
  • Frequent Miler
  • Milesopedia
  • Prince of Travel
  • Frugal Flyer
  • Flytrippers
  • Ben’s Big Deal
  • Maple Miles
  • The Canadian Jetsetter
  • Money We Have
  • and more!

We’re continuing to build out the program. The current list of sessions and speakers is not final, and more will be added in the coming days as the event takes shape.

Who Should Attend?

If you’re curious about points, credit card rewards, and loyalty programs but feel overwhelmed by where to start, PTF Toronto is for you. We welcome travellers at every stage of their journey. With flight and hotel prices higher than ever, understanding how to use points effectively has become increasingly valuable. Events like this provide both the knowledge and the network to reach your travel goals.

Beyond the content, the event is very much about the people. It’s a chance to meet fellow points enthusiasts, exchange ideas, hear real-life wins (and mistakes), and learn directly from some of the most respected voices in the points and travel space. And some of the most valuable learning happens between sessions: during coffee breaks, hallway conversations, and shared meals.

These events create lasting connections. Many attendees leave with new travel friends, group-booking partners, and people they can reach out to when award space opens up or a deal drops. The sense of community helps people learn faster than simply reading blog posts or watching YouTube videos.
