WestJet has introduced the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business, designed to help businesses earn WestJet points quickly on travel and operational spending. The card provides enhanced travel benefits, including automatic WestJet Rewards Silver status plus built-in insurance protections for both business and personal travel.

The annual fee for the card is $175, and new primary business cardholders can receive 35,000 welcome WestJet points after making their first purchase on the card. Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria to be eligible for the card;

  • Minimum annual individual income of $80,000, or household annual income of $150,000.

  • Minimum spend of $25,000 on purchases eligible for direct payment via credit card.
  • Minimum assets under management (AUM) of $400,000.

Earning WestJet Points

The card comes with strong earn rates, and cardholders can earn WestJet points on a wide range of purchases, with no expiry on accumulated points. • 3 WestJet points per $1 spent on WestJet flights and WestJet Vacations packages.
  • 3 WestJet points per $1 spent on telecommunications, shipping, and electronics purchases.
  • 1.5 WestJet points per $1 spent on all other purchases.
