Singapore Airlines (SIA) has embarked on a significant renovation of its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 2, allocating S$45 million to enhance the ground experience for its passengers. The project commenced on April 15, 2025, and is scheduled for completion by mid-2027. The upgraded lounges will offer 50% more space and seating capacity, incorporating design elements from SIA’s Terminal 3 flagship lounges (Review – SilverKris Business Lounge), improved facilities and a broader selection of food and beverage options.
First Class SilverKris Lounge
The First Class SilverKris Lounge will feature a more spacious layout with higher ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. A renovated bar will provide barista services in the morning. Live cooking stations will serve a variety of Singaporean, Asian, and Western dishes, and the self-service buffet will be expanded to match the offerings of the Terminal 3 lounge. Construction began on April 15, 2025, with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2025.

Business Class SilverKris Lounge
The Business Class SilverKris Lounge will expand by 30%, offering a quiet rest area with recliners and a redesigned living room with diverse seating options, including wingback chairs, sofa seats, and productivity pods. The self-service buffet will feature Asian and Western cuisines, complemented by a new full-service bar serving barista-made coffee in the morning and signature cocktails in the evening. Renovation is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

KrisFlyer Gold Lounge
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double its capacity and provide various seating options, such as armchairs, workstations, and dining seats. New amenities will include in-lounge restrooms and shower suites. Renovations are scheduled to start in the first half of 2026.
