JetBlue announces service to Vancouver, from New York and Boston, starting summer 2022! 

Get excited Canada, starting next summer, JetBlue will fly from New York (JFK) and Boston (BOS) to Vancouver (YVR)! The YVR route is part of a larger expansion by JetBlue, which also includes six new routes in US, and Latin America;

While we have to wait on the details of equipment, and cabin service JetBlue would fly on the JFK-YVR route, I am personally hoping that it includes the Mint Suite™ – JetBlue’s premium cabin service.

Current Mint Routes in the US (from NYC) include;

• Las Vegas, NV (LAS)
• Los Angeles area
• Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
• Palm Springs, CA (PSP)
• San Diego, CA (SAN)
• San Francisco area
• San Francisco, CA (SFO)
• Seattle, WA (SEA)

Currently, there are no direct service flights between JFK and YVR. Although, Air Canada flies daily between YVR and EWR. Canada recently lost the beloved Cathay First Class service between JFK and YVR (fifth freedom route), and while not First Class, JetBlue’s Mint Suites will definitely excite the premium cabin flyers on that route. Current JetBlue fleet predominantly includes A321, and A320 aircrafts.
