Electrifying! Air Canada announces premium Chauffeur Service, with Porsche

Air Canada has officially announced the reopening of Toronto Air Canada Signature Suite. As part of the reopening, they are also introducing an exciting new premium Chauffeur Service! Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. will be the exclusive vehicle supplier of the Air Canada Chauffeur Service at Toronto-Pearson.

Air Canada Chauffeur Service

The service announced today is for eligible International Signature Class customers connecting through Toronto Pearson, who will be drivenfrom domestic to international terminal, specifically to Toronto Air Canada Signature Suite, on electric Porsche cars. There is no mention or confirmation of service that connects passengers from the terminal to the flight at this time.

The fleet of vehicles will be electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, including the Porsche Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne. Starting today, eligible Air Canada Signature Class customers will be selected on a surprise and delight basis and offered this exclusive chauffeur service to bring them to the international terminal to visit the Air Canada Signature Suite. The concierge will meet with eligible customers at arrivals gate on the domestic side, and escorted to the Porsche waiting to transfer them to the international gate area with direct access to the Air Canada Signature Suite – very classy!

Currently, YYZ will have 3 Porsches available for the Chauffeur service, with plans to scale up to 6 in the future. At this time the premium service is only available at YYZ, but is planned to be introduced in Vancouver International (YVR) later in 2022.

Air Canada Signature Suite and Access

Air Canada Signature Suite is an exclusive 6,400-square-foot suite, designed for eligible Air Canada Signature Class customers travelling to Europe, Asia or South America from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ). It features à la carte dining at a complimentary, full-service restaurant from a menu, hors d’œuvres, champagne, fine wines, and cocktails. Air Canada Signature Suite is located next to gate E77 at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 and can accommodates up to 160 premium customers.

Air Canada Signature Class customers travelling on an Air Canada-operated flight (to Europe, Asia and South America) originally booked and ticketed in booking classes J, C, D, Z, P. Aeroplan flight rewards booked as a Business Class Flexible Reward or a First Class Flexible Reward in J, C, D, Z, P, I booking classes are also eligible for access.

All other bookings including eUpgrades, Last-Minute Upgrades, and AC Bid Upgrades, Aeroplan flight rewards in Business Class Lowest Reward or a First Class Lowest Reward, Star Alliance Upgrade Awards, Business Class flight rewards booked and ticketed by partner airlines, Star Alliance Upgrade Awards, are excluded. Eligible customers cannot invite guests.
