I am struggling to keep up with these eye popping promotions from Aeroplan. Their latest, is the best redemption offer EVER – Members who book an Air Canada Flight Reward between June 17th and July 1^st , for all routes within Canada and the US, will get 50% miles back! Let that sink in.

In addition, Air Canada is extending the flexible policy for cancelling Aeroplan Flight Rewards through to August 31. Members can cancel free of charge and receive all of their Aeroplan Miles back in their account, plus a full refund of any associated taxes, fees and surcharges on the unused value of your travel.

With 50% off, here is what the redemption rates look like during this sale;

Economy:

• • 7,500 miles for a round-trip short haul flight in Canada and US, including a stop-over. Anything east of Montreal is considered short haul, so Montreal-St. John’s would now cost 3750 Aeroplan miles for one-way or 7,500 return. Wow.
  • 12,500 miles for a round-trip long haul flight in Canada and US, including a stop-over. One-way booking for 6,250. This covers a cross country trip, say from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, Newfoundland, or Toronto to San Diego. Don’t forget to add a stopover to your round trip booking, for even more value!

Business: 

Basically, you can fly Business class for the price of standard Economy prices;

• • 15,000 miles for a round-trip short haul flight in Canada and US, including a stop-over. 7,500 miles for a one-way award in business class.
  • 25,000 miles for a round-trip long haul flight in Canada and US, including a stop-over. 12,500 miles for a one-way award in business class. Toronto to Vancouver on Boeing 787 business class, for 25,000 miles sounds fantastic!

Only valid on eligible scheduled flights within Canada and between Canada and the US, operated by Air Canada for travel between July 1^st 2020 and completed by October 15^th 2020.
