PMB Meetup Experience
I attended my first PMB Meetup in Ottawa (YOW) back in September, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and filled with people who love talking about points – earning, redeeming, optimizing, all of it.
We kicked off the night with networking, great food, and drinks, and then moved into interactive breakout sessions that followed the theme of the evening: maximizing credit card awards (Canada and the U.S.). We shared knowledge, compared strategies, and explored different credit cards. What really stood out to me was how much you can learn from conversation. Blogs and YouTube videos are great, but hearing real experiences, real mistakes, and real wins in person is a different level of insight.
That event helped me refine my own strategy, and I walked away with new friends I still keep in touch with. Vancouver will be my second PMB Meetup, and I already know it’s going to be another fantastic evening.
I hope to see you there!
