Porter Airlines is marking its 20th anniversary with its first commercial merchandise collection, with free flights tucked into the launch. Starting August 11, Porter is opening the presale for ‘The Little Things Blind Boxes’, a limited-edition series of five vinyl collectibles based on recognizable elements of the airline and its onboard experience.

Each blind box costs US$22 (plus shipping and taxes), and contains one randomly selected collectible. The boxes are available exclusively through porter20.com, with shipping expected to begin in late November, after Porter’s 20th birthday on October 23, 2026.

Golden Porter Passes, each redeemable for 20 free Porter flights (or 10 round trips) to any destination across Porter’s network, will be randomly distributed among the boxes. The stated odds of finding one are 1 in 500.

What are The Little Things Blind Boxes?

Admittedly, I had no idea what a blind box was. Blind boxes have become a popular format in the collectibles market, where buyers purchase a sealed package without knowing which item from a collection is inside. Porter is using the same concept for its anniversary merchandise.

Porter Blind Box

There are five different vinyl figures in the collection, with 1,000 of each being produced. Each box contains one of the five items;

  • Mr. Porter, the airline’s raccoon mascot.
  • De Havilland Dash 8-400, the aircraft type associated with Porter since the airline began operations.
  • Embraer E195-E2, which now operates much of Porter’s longer-haul network.
  • Little Drink, representing Porter’s onboard glassware service.
  • Little Luggage.

Each collectible comes inside a sealed foil bag within the blind box, so buyers will not know which of the five figures they have received until the package is opened. The box will also include a keychain so the figure can be used as an accessory. With 1,000 units of each figure, the complete limited run consists of 5,000 blind boxes.

Note that billing for Porter Blind Box is in USD, and you are expected to pay a hefty shipping fee and taxes based on your address. Canadians should ideally use a credit card that does not charge an FX fee – otherwise, you will get dinged another 2.5% on top. Orders placed today are estimated to ship on December 1, 2026.

The Golden Porter Pass – 20 Free Flights

Porter confirms that 20 Golden Porter Passes will be distributed through the promotion, giving participants a 1-in-500 chance of finding one. A Golden Porter Pass provides the winner with 20 free flights (10 round-trips) to any Porter destination.

Porter Golden Pass

Porter currently operates more than 80 Embraer E195-E2 and De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, with a network covering Canada as well as destinations in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

Note that purchasing a blind box is not required to enter the Golden Porter Pass promotion, and buying a box does not increase the odds of winning. A no-purchase entry method is available by mail.

The contest is open to eligible residents of Canada and the United States, including the District of Columbia, but excluding New York and Florida. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority in their province, territory or state of residence. Additional contest details can be found here.
