I am incredibly excited to announce that Allan Yong officially joins the PMB team. Over the past few months, Allan has written on PMB as a guest writer on various topics, including hotel reviews, op-eds on error fares and suite upgrades, and liquors in Business Class. A guest no longer, Allan will continue to engage readers with his unique takes on the eccentric points community. Join me in welcoming Allan onboard.
PMB Team
Through speaking engagements across Canada, I have connected with some brilliant minds in this industry and, even better, built meaningful friendships. It brings me immense pleasure to share that the PMB team continues to grow, to enrich the points community with their insights and further the PMB brand.
Allan, originally from Beijing, China, came to Canada as an international student, where he sought opportunities to broaden his horizons and ignited his passion for travel. He has emerged as a trusted authority in the evolving landscape of the travel industry and entrenched himself within the Points community. A Ph.D. candidate, Allan is widely recognized as the ‘Pekflyer,’ the moniker under which he continues to run his influential Chinese blog.
Sash loves telling me why doors in F should be a norm, why “EK Game Changer” is a gimmick – and how classic seats are much better. He also believes first-world problems deserve their discord server. Need I say more? With this ‘F-guru,’ you can expect the nerdiest discourse on all things Bling – and he fits in perfectly here š
Mohammad personifies Roman Gluttony with his love for Italy, penchant for fine dining in the sky or the best restaurants worldwide. A connoisseur of luxury hotel brands, you can expect him to share rich travel experiences with scrupulous honesty.
Dalia is passionate about challenging set conventions and brings a practical outlook to the often irrational consumer behaviour among Point enthusiasts. Always eager to onboard newcomers into the world of points, you can look forward to thought-provoking content for newcomers and seasoned travellers alike.

Hi Anshul!
Congrats on the new PMB!
I look forward to some great content from you and your new collaborators.
Iām delighted to see Sash as a new writer as F is what drives me. Just flew F for the first time (two back to back flights with EK A380 and LHās 747) and even though the Proletarian Gods are making me pay a high price for my futility (stranded in airports for 2 days now) Iām looking forward more First World futility.
