Hilton has launched a new promotion to earn 2,000 or 4,000 points, depending on the length of your stay. This promotion is not targeted, so visit the landing page and sign in to register.
More Nights, More Points
The structure of the promotion is simple: earn 2,000 bonus points per stay of up to 3 nights and 4,000 bonus points per stay of 4 or more nights. This offer ends on August 15, 2026.
One stay is counted as consecutive nights at the same property, and there’s no maximum total number of bonus points that you can earn during the promotion period. Stays booked previously that fall within the eligible dates qualify.
All stays must be completed (you must check out) before August 15 to qualify for bonus points. Notably, award stays booked with points also count for this promotion.

Hilton More Nights, More Points promotion
Bonus points can take 6-8 weeks to post, but they usually post much faster.
How Lucrative is This Promo?
Frankly, it’s not that lucrative and more in the “don’t go out of your way, but take advantage if you have organic Hilton stays” category. Hilton points are worth a flat 0.5 cents per point (CPP) (since that’s the rate Hilton will sell them for), so 2,000 points are worth $10 and 4,000 points are worth $20.
To optimize, one-night stays are best, since two one-night stays earn 2,000 + 2,000 = 4,000 points, compared to a single 2-night stay, which would earn only 2,000 points. Depending on where you are in the world, switching hotels for one-night stays could be worth it for $10 worth of points. For example, some Hiltons in China will cost $50 per night, so this is a 20% return on spend.
The best case is if you can stack this promotion with the one below, which makes hotel hopping more worthwhile.
“Stay More, Earn More” is More Lucrative, But Targeted
Here’s how “Stay More, Earn More” works:
- 1,000 points on your first stay
- 2,000 points on your second stay
- 3,000 points on your third stay
- 4,000 points on your fourth stay
- 5,000 points on your fifth stay
Offer ends December 31, 2026, but you must complete your stays within six months of the registration date to earn. Make sure to register on the landing page, but note that this promotion is targeted.
All stays booked directly with Hilton count toward the count, including award stays, and there’s no minimum night requirement per stay. Like all Hilton promotions, bonus points can take 6-8 weeks to post, but they usually post right away.
Time Your Registration + Hotel Hop
15,000 points (for five stays) are worth about $75 USD (roughly Hilton’s sale price). With five stays, assuming each stay is one night (most optimal), you’ll also earn 2,000 bonus points per stay with “More Nights, More Points” for a total of 10,000 points worth $50 USD.
Combining the two promotions, you’ll earn 25,000 points or $125 over five stays, which is a pretty good return and moves the needle towards “go out of your way to earn bonus points”.
For “Stay More, Earn More”, note that the promotion period runs until December 31, 2026, but you have only six months to earn points after you register. Therefore, it’s optimal to wait and register right before your first Hilton stay to maximize the time period you have to earn bonus points.
Just like with Marriott’s Q1 2026 promotion, the best strategy is to book one-night stays where you can, because multiple nights do not qualify you for more bonus points. If you have five nights to spend in one city and there are five different Hilton hotels, you’ll earn 1,000 points by spending all five nights at the same hotel or 15,000 points by moving daily.

Hotel hop to earn more bonus points
Moving daily is not ideal for most people’s vacation plans, but this promotion particularly incentivizes hotel hopping since each subsequent stay is more rewarding. You don’t earn 1,000 points per stay — you earn 1,000 MORE points for the next stay than your current one.
Use Your Hilton Credits
If you have access to U.S. credit cards, many of them come with Hilton credits. The Amex Business Platinum has a quarterly $50 Hilton credit, while the Amex Hilton Business, Surpass, and Aspire all come with either semi-annual or quarterly Hilton credits.
Use your $200 Aspire credit, $60 Hilton business credit, $50 Amex Business Platinum credit, and/or $50 Hilton Surpass credit to book hotel stays, and you’ll have discounted or even free hotel stays (depending on where you book in the world) while earning bonus points along the way.
This is definitely the optimal play since you have to use your Hilton credits anyway.
Takeaway
On its own, Hilton’s “More Nights, More Points” promotion is a nice little bonus rather than a reason to book a stay at a Hilton hotel. Register anyway, since all eligible stays, including award stays, qualify, and there’s no limit to the bonus points you can earn.
The real opportunity comes if you’re also targeted for “Stay More, Earn More.” By combining the two promotions, timing your registration, and booking one-night stays where practical, you can earn a meaningful number of extra Hilton points. If you also have Hilton statement credits from an American Express card, this is an excellent opportunity to stack multiple offers and credits on the same stays.
