American Express Canada has rolled out a few very good Amex Offers that are very much worth your time and attention. One is with Toronto Pearson International Airport Dining: “Spend $60, Get $30,” twice; the other is with Marriott Bonvoy in a very compelling “Spend $250, Get $60” offer.

Remember to enrol in any offer before making any eligible spend.

What Are Amex Offers

As a recap, Amex Offers are exclusive offers from Amex for cardholders to earn a return on regular spending, with a rotating set of merchants and offers. Sometimes it’s a statement credit, sometimes you earn Membership Rewards points.

Amex releases these offers at random, separate from the regularly scheduled statement credits included with the Business Platinum and Platinum cards. For example, the Amex Platinum and Amex Business Platinum offer a monthly $20 Instacart credit ($10 twice), but the Toronto Pearson International Airport Dining offer is a limited-time Amex Offer, even though both appear the same way in the “Amex Offers” section of the Amex website and/or mobile app.

Marriott Bonvoy: Spend $250, Get $60

Of this round, this is the most compelling Amex Offer, in my humble opinion. Getting $60 off a $250 stay is about 23% off, which is a very generous discount for an upcoming stay.

This offer applies only to Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. The terms refer to participating hotels, but the “View Participating Locations” link simply redirects to Marriott.com, so it’s reasonable to assume the offer applies to all Marriott Bonvoy properties in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

$250 can be spent either cumulatively or as a single qualifying purchase, provided all purchases are made by October 6, 2026, when this offer expires. It also says “Enrollment limited”, so it’s better to enrol now just in case you do take advantage.

I’m seeing the offer on my partner’s Amex Cobalt, and other members in the PMB community report seeing it on their Amex Gold and Amex Platinum cards.

If you don’t have an upcoming stay before October 6, it’s worth visiting your local Marriott hotel and seeing if they sell gift cards.

Toronto Pearson International Airport Dining: Spend $60, Earn $30 Twice

Another great Amex Offer this round is getting 50% off airport restaurants when you spend $60 at participating dining outlets at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

You’ll get a $30 statement credit after spending $60 between now and September 30, and a second credit is available after spending $60 between October 1 and December 31. Basically, “up to 2 credits” means once in Q3 and once in Q4 of 2026.

Unlike the Marriott offer, you must spend the full $60 in a single qualifying transaction.

The list of qualifying locations is available here, with 15 locations in Terminal 1 and 12 in Terminal 3, each split among domestic, transborder, and international.

The ideal play here is to status match any airline or hotel status for free to Club Avolta Gold to get 5% off at dining outlets, then link your Aeroplan and Club Avolta accounts to earn 1 Aeroplan point per $2 spent through Aeroplan’s latest partnership. Note that only some participating locations are part of Club Avolta, and it’s easy to check in the Club Avolta app.

Aeroplan’s partnership with Club Avolta does not currently include dining locations, but it plans to add them all by the end of 2026. Since this offer effectively runs twice, hopefully we’ll be able to stack Aeroplan points earned with the Amex Offer, at least within the Q4 $30 credit.

Takeaway

This round of Amex Offers is particularly strong, highlighted by “Spend $250, Get $60 at Marriott Bonvoy properties in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, and “Spend $60, Get $30 at participating Toronto Pearson airport restaurants (available once in Q3 and once again in Q4). If you’re targeted, enrol in the offers before making any eligible purchases, then make sure to use them before they expire.
