We’ve talked about concierge services in the past, but it turns out there’s an entire sector of included benefits I had no idea about. When you think of concierge (and certainly when I think of concierge), you think about a dedicated assistant from whom we can request services like booking travel, securing concert tickets, or even booking a dentist appointment.

Well, “concierge services” can also include a set of fixed benefits that you just have to reach out to the concierge to sign up for. Outside the typical restaurant and airport parking benefits, the lifestyle offers are actually awesome and include free trials to fitness classes, spas, and more.

Visa Concierge Offers

Visa Concierge comes with not only high-annual-fee Visa Infinite Privilege cards but also $120–$150 annual-fee Visa Infinite cards, making it highly accessible.

There is an entire webpage dedicated to “Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite Privilege Benefits and Offers”. From here, you can filter by offer category or search by merchant. There are a few offers only for Visa Infinite Privilege cardholders, but the vast majority are available to all.

Clicking into an offer loads the full details, terms and conditions, and redemption guidelines, including whether it’s best to redeem online or call the Concierge.

Lifestyle Offers

Filtering the category to “Lifestyle” finds the (in my opinion) most interesting offers, such as a 10-day free trial of Strong Pilates, a free RCVRI spa session, and 15% off admission to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).

As you might expect, the best offers are concentrated in major cities with many in Toronto. I’ll avoid assigning a dollar value to these offers, since you might not ordinarily pay for group fitness classes, but it’s at the very least a fun way to try something new and explore what’s on offer.

Visa Concierge “Lifestyle” Offers

To put it another way, the points maximizer in you can’t pass up a complimentary sauna and jacuzzi. It’s the same instinct that makes us use every last credit card benefit, even when maximizing a $10 credit somehow ends up costing $15. 😉

My Experience With Visa Concierge Offers

My friends in Toronto had been raving about Othership, a wellness studio with saunas, cold plunges, relaxation areas, and guided sessions where staff circulate heat and essential-oil scents with choreographed towel-waving. I have since admittedly jumped on the bandwagon as well.

When we planned to visit together, one friend told me Visa Concierge was offering three complimentary sessions. Until then, I had no idea Visa Concierge offered lifestyle benefits like this.

I called the Visa Concierge at 1-888-853-4458, provided the details of my new RBC Avion Visa Infinite, and informed them I’d like to sign up for the Othership offer. The concierge was familiar with the offer, asked which email I’d like to use, and told me to wait for Othership to reach out.

My friend warned me that Othership could take a while, so I emailed the company directly. They initially replied that the request had to go through Visa Concierge, but I received the registration instructions 10 minutes later, presumably after my concierge request reached the right person.

The offer includes either three complimentary visits within 90 days or a two-week pass. I chose the three visits since I was only in Toronto briefly, and the credits can also be used for guests.

Redeeming the Visa Concierge offer for Othership is fairly straightforward

My friend also redeemed the STRONG Pilates trial without issue after calling Visa Concierge.

For my next Toronto visit, the AIRE Ancient Baths offer has caught my eye. An extra 30 minutes of bath time is less compelling than complimentary visits, but I’m curious how it compares to a Turkish hammam in Istanbul.

Takeaway

Visa Concierge is actually more useful than I previously gave it credit for. Beyond traditional concierge requests, there’s a small but interesting collection of included lifestyle benefits, with complimentary fitness and wellness experiences standing out the most.

If you already hold a Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite Privilege card, it’s worth periodically checking the offers page to see what’s available. At worst, there’s nothing that interests you. At best, you discover a fun new hobby or save on classes you already take without even realizing your credit card included the benefit.
