Aeroplan and Amazon have teamed up to launch a new promotion for Amazon Prime Day this June. On top of having a chance to earn 1 million Aeroplan points, you’ll also earn up to 10X points through the Aeroplan eStore.

Entering the Aeroplan contest is pretty simple.

- Shop on Amazon via the Aeroplan eStore from June 2-26

That’s it! I do love contests that are simple to enter, with no convoluted rules. The best part is that there are 10 winners (and not just one).
To be extra clear, you do need to be an Amazon Prime member to participate, and the contest ends this Friday, June 26, 2026.
If you aren’t able to or don’t want to shop on Amazon but still want to participate in the draw, Aeroplan is offering a compelling alternative. You can mail a 50-word essay in either English or French explaining you why you would like to win a million Aeroplan points. This letter needs to include your name, email address, phone number, and Aeroplan number and be mailed to:

Earn up to 10X through Aeroplan eStore
As a separate line item, you’re also eligible to earn up to 10X the points when shopping on Amazon in eligible categories through the Aeroplan eStore. This is a special promotion for Prime Day, which runs June 23-26.

Make sure you’re clicking through to Amazon from the eStore to track earnings. As a reminder, you should be going through the eStore for all Amazon purchases even when there isn’t a special promotion to stack at least 1X Aeroplan points on Amazon purchases on top of your usual credit card rewards.
Redeem for Amazon Gift Cards + Gift Cards on Sale
For the sake of being thorough, I’ll add that Aeroplan is offering savings of up to 12% when redeem for an Amazon gift card at the Aeroplan eStore and also offering 100+ gift cards on sale. These last most of the month until June 28.
You can redeem Aeroplan points for gift cards, but should you?
Although these options are better than usual, redeeming Aeroplan points for gift cards is still not the best use of your points. Aside from flights, redeeming Aeroplan points for hotels is a decent option.
Takeaway
This is one of those promotions that’s easy to recommend because it requires very little effort. If you’re shopping on Amazon during Prime Day anyway, make sure to register for the contest and click through the Aeroplan eStore first. Between the chance to win 1 million Aeroplan points and earn up to 10X points on eligible purchases, there’s meaningful upside for something you may have been planning to buy regardless.
As always, don’t overlook the Aeroplan eStore outside of special promotions. Even when Amazon isn’t offering elevated earn rates, earning extra Aeroplan points on purchases you were already going to make is one of the easiest ways to boost your balance throughout the year.
