We are almost halfway through 2026 and Amex Canada is the gift that keeps on giving. The first thing Amex did was improve the transfer ratio for Flying Blue to 1:1, then they launched elevated offers on the Amex Bonvoy cards, ran an incredible 25% transfer bonus to Flying Blue and now — the main event: launching new, elevated bonuses on most Amex Membership Rewards, Aeroplan, and Marriott Bonvoy cards.
The elevated offers for the Amex Platinum and Amex Reserve are publicly available without any browser shenanigans and are also available via referral. However, referring a friend does come with extra points (for a limited time) and anyone you refer will receive the elevated offer.
The Amex Platinum is increased to 25,000 points per referral, up from the usual 15,000, and the Amex Reserve referral is increased to 20,000 points per referral, up from the usual 10,000.

Hi team – all I’m seeing is this one for the Personal Plat – noticeably more spend than the one you mentioned?
Earn 90,000 points after you spend $10,000 on your Card in your first 3 months as a new Platinum® Cardmember.
Earn an additional 40,000 points after you spend a total of $45,000 on your Card in your first 12 months of Cardmembership.
Earn 40,000 Membership Rewards® points when you make a purchase between 15 and 17 months of Cardmembership.
I checked a few different browsers / VPNs / Incognito as well! Couldn’t find the one you mentioned. :/
It looks like Amex is busy updating on their end because on the Amex Reserve, different refresh brought up a different offer. Just minutes ago, I was seeing 110k upon spending $7,500 + 40k in year 2, but now it’s also showing the $45,000 spend requirement. I believe the $45,000 spend requirement is “properly” the new offer and updated the blog post to reflect as such.
Ah that’s unfortunate – 110K upon spending $7500 would’ve been quite incredible
These are just the regular elevated offers that have been ongoing for months. It comes as exclusive referrals for some referrers and comes on random browsers at times.
Its not like the summer highs of last year which were actual high offers. Hopefully those come soon. Nothing new here as of yet
We saw these elevated pop up briefly in January, but I haven’t seen them since then. You’ve been finding them consistently throughout all of 2026? Usually incognito?
